Dans ce balado, on nous présente les résultats d’une revue de littérature effectuée par un groupe de 4 résidents de l’Université de Montréal afin de répondre à des questions de pertinence par rapport à la stratification des patients présentant une DRS.

Notons que ce travail, réalisé dans le cadre de leur programme de résidence en médecine familiale, a remporté le prix Nadine St-Pierre octroyé par le CQMF pour leur projet de recherche sur la stratification cardiologique. Ce prix, remis par le Collège québécois des médecins de famille, récompense le meilleur travail d’érudition d’un résident francophone en médecine de famille au Canada.
Objectifs de cette capsule:
- Déterminer si le risque de faire un événement cardiaque (MACE) est significatif chez un patient consultant pour DRS
- Déterminer si les tests sont suffisamment performants pour détecter la maladie coronarienne afin qu’il vaille la peine de les demander
- Déterminer si la détection de la maladie coronarienne permet d’en réduire la mortalité et la morbidité
